Hello, I'm Fabiola Navarrete Hernandez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area and virtually throughout California. I am committed to creating a supportive and collaborative space for growth and healing.
I have a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies, which informs a unique and creative approach to therapy. My experience working with BIPOC, immigrant, and other communities disproportionately impacted by systemic injustices in community-based non-profits enriches my therapeutic approach, allowing me to offer a multifaceted healing experience. As a practicing visual artist, I deeply understand how tapping into one's creative strengths can be healing, transformative, and introspective.
As a therapist, I strive to be consistent, reliable, empathetic, authentic, and present in my practice. I deeply value the trust and safety we build together in our therapeutic relationship, as this forms the bedrock of meaningful progress.
As a queer Latine/x therapist and a child of Central American immigrants, I personally understand the profound importance of feeling seen and affirmed. My practice is deeply rooted in providing non-oppressive, strength-based, and culturally-responsive therapy for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other communities disproportionately impacted by systemic injustices.
